Obviously you guys have noticed that I've been practically MIA in the blogging world since school started and the truth is I have just been way to busy. I filled my plate and now I'm starting to feel it. I have no time to blog, my grades are in the tank, my social life is lacking, and I have way to many responsibilities.
On the upside one of my classes was only 8 weeks long so that's over with, but I've found that the difficulty of my classes and the amount of outside work I'm doing just doesn't mix. I write for 2 campus publications, (1 article a week) am involved in 2 clubs, have a job, am part of a sorority and have 2 campus rep positions. That on top of the 4 rigorous classes Im in, and my midterm grades have not made me happy. It's about the time for my mid semester crisis, and I'm going to have to cut down on my courses for second semester. Its difficult but necessary if I want to keep up with my lifestyle choices and pass all my classes. At the end of the day I am here to graduate so ill just have to schedule everything out. There's not much of a point to this post other then purely being a stress vent, and an excuse for whats been going on with me lately. Hopefully I'll be able to pick everything up and work on my time management a little more. Anyway have any of you guys gone through anything similar? any time management advice? or advice on how to study efficiently? To those who don't know, being a campus rep is an opportunity for students to gain marketing experience while representing a brand and a cause that they are passionate about. This semester I'm proud to announce that I was accepted into the Bobble campus rep program, and will be promoting them via social media for the remainder of the semester.
Because I'm a bobble rep there are certain program requirements and such for me to fulfill both on campus and over social media. I'm telling you all this because there is a chance that more things that have to do with the bobble brand may pop up on my blog, and anything I say in them are 100% my opinion, even though it could be considered a sponsored post because I'm receiving free products from the company through the campus rep program. Anyway its super exciting and if your looking to apply for a campus rep program I highly recommend the Bobble program. The product is amazing and sponsoring events on campus is really easy and fun. To those who don't know Bobble is a company that sells filtered water bottles that are extremely environmentally friendly. Ill probably do some sort of review soon! (PS. use the code BOBBLEROCKS for 20%off.) As part of the program I also have to do several "whats in your bag" posts for my social media accounts, but since I'm a blogger and love doing whats in your bag posts personally I'm probably going to post full posts on the blog as well as for social media so that will be a super cool thing I'm going to be doing in the next few weeks here on the blog. If you have any questions comment below or pm me on any of my social media. Links on the side! Stay Lovely! Dana I've been in school for 6 weeks. and in that month blogging has been pretty much the farthest thing on my mind. keeping up with a blog and a busy life style is hella hard. and with the amount of things I've been working on its nearly impossible. But I got a reality check today when the HCBN a network that I'm in emailed me saying that I haven't updated my blog in over three. weeks. 3 weeks?! where has all this time gone.
So I'm officially starting over with this and focusing on my blog. Weebly updated the blog format so you can schedule a post now which is a LIFE SAVER and will help immensely with sticking with a blog schedule. This is just a quick post for today and tomorrow I'm going to start working on posts to make regularly. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to comment! |
