To those who don't know, being a campus rep is an opportunity for students to gain marketing experience while representing a brand and a cause that they are passionate about. This semester I'm proud to announce that I was accepted into the Bobble campus rep program, and will be promoting them via social media for the remainder of the semester.
Because I'm a bobble rep there are certain program requirements and such for me to fulfill both on campus and over social media. I'm telling you all this because there is a chance that more things that have to do with the bobble brand may pop up on my blog, and anything I say in them are 100% my opinion, even though it could be considered a sponsored post because I'm receiving free products from the company through the campus rep program. Anyway its super exciting and if your looking to apply for a campus rep program I highly recommend the Bobble program. The product is amazing and sponsoring events on campus is really easy and fun. To those who don't know Bobble is a company that sells filtered water bottles that are extremely environmentally friendly. Ill probably do some sort of review soon! (PS. use the code BOBBLEROCKS for 20%off.) As part of the program I also have to do several "whats in your bag" posts for my social media accounts, but since I'm a blogger and love doing whats in your bag posts personally I'm probably going to post full posts on the blog as well as for social media so that will be a super cool thing I'm going to be doing in the next few weeks here on the blog. If you have any questions comment below or pm me on any of my social media. Links on the side! Stay Lovely! Dana

I've been in school for 6 weeks. and in that month blogging has been pretty much the farthest thing on my mind. keeping up with a blog and a busy life style is hella hard. and with the amount of things I've been working on its nearly impossible. But I got a reality check today when the HCBN a network that I'm in emailed me saying that I haven't updated my blog in over three. weeks. 3 weeks?! where has all this time gone.
So I'm officially starting over with this and focusing on my blog. Weebly updated the blog format so you can schedule a post now which is a LIFE SAVER and will help immensely with sticking with a blog schedule. This is just a quick post for today and tomorrow I'm going to start working on posts to make regularly. If you guys have any suggestions feel free to comment! I was sent a sample size of Bikini Ready Energy gummies for free for review purposes by Influenster.com. Review is honest and my own thoughtsSo In my Influenster Voxbox I recived a sample of Bikini Ready Energy gummies. The sample only came with 2 gummies, which is a one day serving of vitamins. What Is Bikini Ready?Bikini Ready Energy Gummies are a b-12 Vitamin Supplement in gummy form. I practically inhale B-12 so I was excited to receive a sample of this product! For those of you who don't know. B-12 is a natural energy booster that can help boost your metabolism as well! (with a healthy diet and regular exercise of course) The packet describes them as a "guilt free, pick-me-up" which is true considering that a daily serving (2 gummies) is only 20 calories, and contains 3g of sugar, and 4g of carbs. I do believe that taking b-12 in other forms is lower calories/sugar/carbs. However this is a good alternative for the chewy vitamin eating crowd. The daily dose is equivalent to a 4th cup of coffee (20mg of caffeine) which is good for a small pick me up, but I don't think it will really help you all that much. (for the record: Im not saying to take more then the recommended dose but in the past iv'e taken like 8 servings of B-12 for those days when you just can't) My ExperienceI the first gummy surprised me because of the texture and taste of the gelatin was not as suspected. It looks a lot like a sugary gumdrop but the texture was different, not like other gummies I have tasted. the taste was surprisingly Bitter. In the past when I've taken B-12 dissolving capsules they taste similar to 5 hour energy. I think its the mixing with vitamin and artificial flavoring that goes sour for me. The after taste is really bad and made me want to drink water or brush my teeth after. (however I did brush my teeth about 45 min before writing the review and hadn't eaten anything else, so maybe that affected it? I don't really think so because I drank water in between but this is an all-honesty review) The Orange one tasted a little better then the purple and after the initial bitter aftertaste the orange taste was okay. (tasted like orange zest) It did give me the energy boost as said on the packaging. So that's good Now the honesty:I like the gummies concept, and with multivitamins, but it doesn't transfer well with Bikini Ready, manly because of the taste. However if your not someone who can take other tablets this may be a nice way to consume b-12. I also think the name "Bikini Ready" Is a bit misleading. It makes you think that it helps you loose weight when it is really just an energy booster to help you get more energy during work outs, so you can loose more calories. More activity and energy leads to a faster metabolism. The packaging is cute and $14.99 is not a bad price for gummy vitamins, so if your interested in a chew able B-12 option you can try out bikini ready, but I would just opp for a dissolving tablet from a different brand which is usually cheaper and better for you. Would not recommend :(Hi Ladies,
As some of you may know I'm part of the Influenster program, and this week I got sent the Vitality VoxBox. This is a box full of sample sized products sent to me for reviewing purposes. I received it last week, and if your following my instagram you'll probably know what products I've gotten. This week Ill post a lot of the reviews from the products that I received in the box but right now im going to give you a brief overview of everything I received and tell you what I think! Sorry I've been a bit inactive lately. This week has been crazy stressful. I had sorority recruitment practice "work week" and the first week of school. Im still getting in the hang of college life, so these next few weeks will be a bit tricky with scheduling since im so super busy! For those who are curious, I'm taking 18 hours of classes this semester, work 20 hours a week and am doing sorority recruitment practices 6 hours a week as well. (and my one odyssey article a week.) Since I havent published a lot of posts lately check out my latest odyssey article, the 7 people you see on quad day. And for those of you who like to keep busy check out my guest post on Gina Elyse about how to get a job on campus! so thank you for being forgiving during this transition. Hopefully I will have a new schedule down soon. I have tons of great post ideas and will work super hard on giving you the best content I can.
ALSO! Remember that im Co-hosting the Autmn swap! Sign up by Friday! Its going to be great! This Post is part of the Back to School Challenge. Learn more here. Its wednesday and I have Officially been on campus for 3 days. School doesn't start until Monday, and although it feels like summer, School is upon us, and my "summer" is over. Im super excited to be back at school but there are some things that I'm going to miss about summer. These are the three things that I'm going to miss the most: 3. All the extra time!I didn't work at all this summer, and although I wish I was able to get a job I was really able to focus on my blog and hanging out with my friends. I read a few books which was nice. and had time to watch tons of TV shows. (all of American Horror Story, Bates Motel, Baby Mama, and Orange is the New Black.) When School starts im not going to have any time for just chilling. So I miss the relaxation that is summer. 2. Hanging out with my hometown FriendsThis summer I reconnected with some of my high school friends and grew really close with some my boyfriend's friend group. I'm really going to miss going to Taco Bell at 1 am in the back of a pick up truck and gabbing about sorority stuff while DIYing with my friend Emily, Setting off fireworks with my pyromaniac friend Tyler, playing night games, going to campfires, and shopping with my high school friend Kelly. I'm not going to see any of them until we go home for break so I'm going to definitely miss them. 3. Family Movie NightsEven though I only live 3 hours away from my school, It's still too far for me to come home and visit regularly. When I'm at home I get to hang out with my sister and dad and this summer we made a Tuesday movie night tradition. Every Tuesday, when the theater is only $5 a person, we go to the theater and see a movie that came out that week. My dad and I are big movie people, and there's usually something that my sister wants to see. It's super fun, and a way for us to all hang out despite whats going on that day. What do you guys miss about summer? Comment Below!xoxo,

Although this is a summer challenge, on Sunday I'll be back to college so I'm going to write this about college parties :)
Being a student at University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) There are many a parties I have been to. From sorority sleep overs to any theme you can think of, I've probably been there. To my friends and I going out, doesn't even mean just one party, an average day has at least 3 stops before the night ends. I decided to write this post on my 5 favorite types of College parties.

To my friends and I going out, doesn't even mean just one party, an average day has at least 3 stops before the night ends. I decided to write this post on my 5 favorite types of College parties.
5. Random Party
Everyone's been to them, or at least seen them in any teen or college movie. It happens when you and your friends want to go out, so you text around and see where everyone's going. Get a feel of what parties are going on and then walk around Frat Park until you find a party. Sometimes you get a facebook invite. Sometimes your friend has a friend who's cousin is going to the apartment party of her best friends roommate. It doesn't really matter. These parties are pretty much an open invitation party. They can be fun, but it's mostly a lot of sticky floors and loud strangers. Can be fun if you go out with the right people but they get old really fast.
4. Themed Party
Now themed parties are like random parties with a theme. From Toga to Highlighter these parties are fun to get ready for and unique costumes can be a good conversation starter. The pictures you take at them are fun and there is generally some themed activity. I once went to an around the world party where each room had a different drink to try. It was super creative and fun and you met a bunch of people in each room you entered. These are definitely a great experience, if only to say that you were there!
3. Sorority Party
Meeting guys is fun, but there's nothing quite like a sisters-only party. You don't have to worry about random guys hitting on you, and you can spend the whole night getting to know your sisters more. Some of my favorite nights out are with my sisters.
2. Members only party
When I say Invitation only, I mean more like a club party. Where everyone in a certain organization is invited, Like the people you work with or the people who are in the same club as you. They're supper fun because like Sorority Parties, there are no randos invited. Having a party with just work or club members is a great way to bond and get to know each other better. For an orginization that im in we decided to throw parties as a fundraiser and charge everyone who came $5. It was only for members and their friends, and some of my favorite memories from my first year of college were at those parties.
1. Besties Only Party
Going out is fun but sometimes the best thing to do is hang out with your best friends. Rent a corny movie or pull out a board game and a bottle of wine, and just be with your best friends, doing what you do best.
Whats your favorite party? Comment below!
