Last weekend my cousins took me to Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky Ohio. If you've never been I strongly recommend it. The park is gorgeous. Its on lake Erie so when your on the top of the roller coasters you look out at the lake. It also has some of the fastest and most intense roller coasters in the world like the Dragster which shoots you up into the air at 120 mph in 3 seconds and uses the same boosters as an aircraft carrier, or Millennium Force which is probably one of the most intense coasters I've ever been on. If your considering going to Cedar point this summer I recommend buying your tickets online and purchasing the ride and refresh ticket. This ticket is $50, ($10 less then buying at the door) and provides you with free drinks all day! It was definitely worth it because soda is about $4, without free refills. Anyway wherever you go have a wonderful time and remember to bring the things listed below in order to make the most of your Amusement Park experience. 1. Cooler For Food
2. Hand Sanitizer a. You will be touching things and picking things up and getting all kind of germs on you and eating without washing your hands is gross. Throw in a small hand sanitizer. (these ones are my favorite) and you’ll be good 3. Swim suit/ change of clothes This one is if your park has water rides. Just because you shouldn't be going on a water ride in jeans. You shouldn't even be wearing jeans. Swimsuit allows you to change but if you don't want to change just wear light weight athletic clothing with a sports bra, and you can take off your top for the rides. Forever 21 has ones that are just $4.80 per piece! 4. A Tampon Because you NEVER KNOW. Even if you think your not going to get it take it anyway. There's like no place to buy them in the park and you do not want to be waiting in line for hours just leaking out. I prefer U by Kotex's Click tampons because their so tiny you can put them in your wallet or pocket and no one will realize. 5. A drawstring bag They give these out as promotions all the time. They're small light weight, and don't take up much space. Bring one bag and put everyone in your groups cell phones, wallets, sunscreen, sunglasses etc in. It's more inconspicuous then holding a purse and is unisex so everyone in your group can take turns holding it. I also thing there is less of a chance of you getting your things stolen when you have a drawstring bag then a hand bag, but maybe that's just me. 6. Sunscreen This is so so important. Even indirectly you can get horrible burns from standing outside all day. bring a light mist spray like This one and keep reapplying as the day goes on. 7. Phone Arm Band There will be a time when you have to put your stuff in the lockers for a few hours while you’re on a ride that doesn't have a cubby. The arm band will allow you to keep your phone on you in case of an emergency but it won’t fly off when you’re on a roller coaster. My cousin brought his and it was such a good idea. You can also bring one that has a container for some cash and leave your other stuff in the locker all day. Amazon has them for only $5! 8. Gym Shoes This should be a given but seriously people. Leave your flip flops, toms, sandels, etc at home! You will be standing literally ALL DAY LONG. your feet will kill. Wear gym shoes. Plus no one wants to deal with the hassle of putting their flip flops in the cubby or possibly loosing them. 9. Hair Bands If your hair isn't tied back it will fly in your face, (or other peoples faces) while on the more extreme rides. Do everyone a favor and tie it back. Plus you'll be able to see your face in the ride pictures. 10. Sunglasses Your probably going to need them because of the fact that you'll be standing in the sun pretty much all day. However leave your nice ones at home! pick up a pair of $5 sunglasses at forever 21, or Claire's or something. Or just use a promotional pair, that way if they get lost or break it wont be that big of a deal. Here's one for 3.80 at Forever 21

This is such a great list! The only thing I'd add is that sometimes I bring flip flops as well as sneakers because parks near me sometimes have water-type rides that you need footwear on (which is kind of ridiculous!) and you don't want to get your sneakers soaked. Also, apparently whenever my family decides to go to an amusement park, there's a downpour in the middle of the day, so extra flip flops help. xD

Good idea! I went to cedar point and they didnt say anything but they're more laid back I think. I doubt you would be able to get away with it at Disney or something, But no one wants to be walking around in squishy sneakers all day, Also bring a zip lock bag if you don't want to rent a locker,
